Sweet Tooth and Wanderlust

Paris is breathtaking.
The entire taxi ride through Paris was incredible.
It's different than the city. There's not so much flash and advertisements everywhere.
It's just beautiful architecture and buildings.
Some buildings are even pale, minty blues or pistachio-colored.
And the French desserts? Wow... even deli shops have wonderfully elegant looking treats.
The presentation of even deli desserts brings shame to some of New York City's renowned bakeries.
My sweet tooth standards are high. Thank you, Paris.

The view from my pink hostel window is so lovely.
It's just of buildings but it has such a lovely vintage and sweet feel to it.
The rooftop moldings are the perfect cap and the abundance of balconies is endearing.
All the buildings have white shutters rather than modern windows with screens and plastic blinds.
I'd imagine having to pay quite the pretty penny for something half as pretty in Brooklyn.

Tomorrow, I think I'd like to go to Versailles.
And I definitely want to find a Laduree and have an authentic French macaron experience.
Maybe I'll spend the rest of the day at a cafe enjoying some coffee while reading
or take a stroll around the Eiffel Tower.
Wow. Can you imagine living in Paris and saying that every weekend?

Au revoir!

  1. It is my opinion that Paris is the city of love not because it is where lovers meet, but because it is a city that is so easy to fall in love with. It is great to hear that you are enjoying one of my favorite cities to its fullest potential!
