Paris is magnifique! It reminds me of NYC, except Paris is cleaner and more scenic. I cannot believe that I am actually in France right now. I am so relieved that I was able to get to my hostel with less stress than I expected. It is my second day here, but it feels like I have been here for a week already! I am staying with Christina and Jaime, who are both part of the study abroad program.
After dinner yesterday, we walked to the Eiffel Tower, thinking that it was closer than it actually was. But it was definitely worth it! There is a reason it is called one of the wonders of the world. Today, we went to the Versailles Palace – my mind was seriously blown! Stunning is the word. This is one place you definitely want to visit when in Paris. My feet were dead after walking through all those gardens, but it was a very refreshing experience.
Tomorrow, we are leaving Paris to go to Cluny, where our course is taking place. Although I love Paris, I am super excited to experience the non-city part of France.
See you soon, Cluny!
