Bienvenido a Mallorca!

Stepping off the plane in Mallorca was like stepping into a dream. With the warm air, palm trees, and the bright blue waters of the Mediterranean, it's nothing short from paradise. I can hardly believe I get to call such a beautiful place "my home" for the next month. The day after we arrived I got to meet my host family. I live with just one women, her name is Lola, and I absolutely love her. She is an actress and designs clothes. We live in a gorgeous apartment right in the heart of Palma. She is so full of life and energy, something interesting is always going on here. We get along really well! I think I will definitely enjoy my time here. Classes started pretty much right away. I'm taking marine ecology and conservation. Its very interesting and my professors are excellent. We have a lot of really amazing excursions planned! Besides the students in my class, I also get to spend a lot of time with the other CIEE students in different classes. We have a lot of fun together. We spend a lot of time at the beach and going out for tapas! I'm really looking forward to the next few weeks here.
