I am leaving for France tomorrow evening! I am very excited and nervous to begin this journey. It is the first time that I will be traveling alone, all by myself. I cannot wait to begin the class that I will be taking in France - Microbiology and the Culture of Cheese and Wine. I am majoring in Nutritional Sciences, and I hope to learn a lot from this class. The only major thing that I am nervous about is the language. I have never taken French (I took Spanish classes in high school) - this trip will be my first true exposure to French. Traveling to a different country is a little scary at times, but I know that once I am there and experience the atmosphere, things will turn out to be great!
